Mr. Alok Bhargava has 22 years of experience in investment banking, financial services and private equity. He has worked at IL&FS for 12 years in project development, project finance, business development and private equity.

A significant portion of Mr. Bhargava's tenure with IL&FS has been focused on the company's endeavors in social infrastructure. Mr. Bhargava was also a member of the IL&FS team that was instrumental in creating India's first infrastructure-focused fund. Prior to joining IL&FS, Mr. Bhargava worked at Emerson Electric Company, where he focused on business planning. He also previously worked at 20th Century Finance Corporation.

Mr. Bhargava received a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (India) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (India).
